Thanksgiving '24.

Joyful Gratitude

Thanksgiving 2024 is in the books! It always feels like a sweet family gathering when our fellow missionaries come to celebrate thanksgiving with us. Hearing about how God is at work in the various ministries in this jungle, and the list of blessings and miraculous provision is always our favorite part! We testify together that God is faithful to hold us fast and go with us as we live this life of faith.

We have so much to be grateful for - not the least of which is the fact that construction on the Round Robin guesthouse is finished! One week after our New Union team left, Friends In Action (FIA) sent us a work team for two weeks. They gave so much of their time, energy, and expertise to help us complete this house sooner than we ever thought possible!

We are absolutely thrilled with the progress and so very grateful for such good help and sweet fellowship with these hard working saints who have such kind, servants’ hearts!

All that is left to do now is shelving, cabinets and furniture. Vann will be in his wood shop for awhile - what we would do for an Ikea right now! If there’s a cabinetry carpenter out there that’s looking for a way to serve, we sure could use a hand!

Thank you to our precious support team for doing the hard work behind the scenes of praying for us and over us. You have faithfully sent the funds to keep this mission going in the service of the Kingdom and cared for us and encouraged us with your texts and letters so we don’t feel quite so far away. You all demonstrate so well how the body of Christ works together to proclaim the glory of the great name of Jesus Christ our Lord!
